DID YOU KNOW about using recommended GP% and reports?
Using Recommended Gross Profit % and Reports
It is possible to set a recommended Gross Profit percentage against groups of items in Sysnet.
By monitoring these groups over a designated period, you can then use specific reports to immediately highlight those products that do not meet the GP% target set, and then take appropriate action.
The PLU Profit Report
The PLU Profit Report can be printed by Date Range or by Period and filtering is available by Location and PLU Group. This report is useful for:
Monitoring sales on groups of items over defined periods
Monitoring gross profit percentages on sales. It is possible to set expected gross profit percentages on each PLU Group. This report will then highlight in colour where the gross profit percentages on sales for the period have not met the recommended benchmark. This allows the venue to regularly monitor retail pricing and any discounts which can be affecting the percentages
Great for monitoring food sales, and to analyse daily specials and popular menu items to target for promotional activities
Can be used in conjunction with the Cost of Goods Report to have detailed information on sales including and excluding GST
The Cost Analysis Report software
The Cost Analysis Report provides a list of all PLU’s sorted by PLU Group displaying cost price and retail pricing for all or selected price levels. This report is used to review the pricing for the different price levels and the different gross profits and gross profit percentages. This report is useful for:
Determining the gross profits generated by the different price levels
Determining the gross profits lost through happy hour pricing
Reviewing bar pricing and other level pricing (for example – price level B for member pricing). By setting the Expected GP % as a benchmark against each PLU Group this report will quickly highlight where pricing is not meeting the expected percentages.
